Over the years, the public realm of this neighbourhood in Mylapore is dominated by traffic, parked vehicles and the general chaotic urban scape that is so characteristic of Indian cities.The idea was to reclaim the underutilized spaces at the edges and transfer it into a positive urban space at the center. This central space could then be a heritage walkway with information of all the historic buildings in the neighbourhood.
