Erode Railway Station

Project Background:
As part of the continued vision to uplift the streetscape of Erode. We had to look into the traffic flow in and out of the bus terminus in Erode. The challenge here was the flow of vehicular and pedestrian traffic was not defined.As a result the entire movement was chaotic. Our approach to this design was clear cut channelization of traffic flow, creating separate defined parking zones for two wheelers, autos and buses. While sorting out the flow, creating a barrier free environment for people with disabilities was not something we wanted to compromise on. Specific points for advertisement billboards and shop fronts were design to generate revenues towards the maintenance of the terminal.
